Project X

The term, Latinx represents a broad spectrum of identities. It’s a word that has always fascinated me because of its controversy. It takes away individualism, it turns Latinos into a monolith yet I still find it comforting. So I wanted to embrace it by exploring the divergence amongst us.

Presentation History
X was first showcased at Sur Gallery from December 7 - 16, 2017 as part of a multimedia group exhibition, Roots (Raíces),  that featured the artwork of six emerging Latino artists based in Tkaronto.
